New dates for SMOPYC 2021

Due to the numerous uncertainties generated due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which in a high probability will persist during the first months of 2021, Feria de Zaragoza, together with the Organizing Committee of the event, have decided to modify the dates of celebration of the next edition of SMOPYC (which was to be held in May) and which, finally, will take place from November 17 to 20, 2021.
With this decision, the fair institution intends to respond to the concerns generated about the evolution of the health crisis and how this could affect the future of the event. Thus, with the “fundamental” support of the exhibiting companies and professionals who faithfully attend their appointment with the event, the management of the show has chosen to move the dates to the last quarter of next year. All this, with the aim of giving visibility to a sector that is so important for the economy and that is presented as crucial in the economic reactivation and regeneration.
In addition, we must add the openness to investment in public works, construction and mining that will be offered by European aid, as a result of the pandemic as well as the expected recovery of normality during the coming months, which will make SMOPYC the perfect setting for the business development for both exhibitors and visitors.
SMOPYC 2021 will be, once again, a launching pad for the professional sector. The pavilions of Feria de Zaragoza will become a showcase of novelties and innovations typical of a segment that has based its development on technology and differentiation.
For all this, the SMOPYC management wants to highlight the support and understanding expressed by the many participating companies, associations and entities that have reinforced the decision of Feria de Zaragoza and have opted for a show that next month November will become the meeting and debate point for the entire professional industry of public works, construction and mining machinery, while ensuring all security measures, both for exhibitors and visitors.
In this way, from November 17 to 20, 2021, the fairgrounds of the Aragonese capital will house the largest showcase for technology, innovation and knowledge, with a significant presence of companies that have a remarkable vision of the future because, as stated in the motto of this edition: SMOPYC, we will continue building together.
